Man arrested in D.C. ricin scare – 17 Apr 2013 Kenneth Curtis of Mississippi has been arrested for sending poisonous letters to Senator Roger Wicker and President Barack Obama. According to the FBI, the suspect was arrested at his home in Corinth, Mississippi. (Wires)

Kenneth Curtis of Tupelo arrested in connection with ricin letters – 17 Apr 2013 Federal sources have confirmed to The Clarion-Ledger that Kenneth Curtis of Tupelo has been arrested in connection with letters laced with ricin that were sent to Sen. Roger Wicker and President Barack Obama. Federal authorities were in Tupelo on Wednesday investigating the letters. Both letters were signed: “I am KC and I approve this message.” Agents with the Secret Service and the FBI used the Lee County Sheriff’s Department as a staging area for their investigation.

FBI has images of two persons of interest in Boston bombings, source says – 17 Apr 2013 A federal law enforcement source told Fox News that investigators are looking for two men that are persons of interest in Monday’s Boston Marathon terror attack and have distributed photos for “law enforcement eyes only.” The FBI is not sharing the photos with the public. A Fox News reporter has seen the photos and called them “clear.” According to the reporter, one of the men has a backpack that appears to match the bag believed to have been used in the attack. The other man also appears to have a bag of some kind.

Image shows suspect carrying, perhaps dropping, black bagAt Boston Medical Center, 19patients now remain hospitalized – 17 Apr 2013 An official briefed on the Boston Marathon bombing investigation said today that authorities have an image of a suspect carrying, and perhaps dropping, a black bag at the second bombing scene on Boylston Street, outside of the Forum restaurant. Investigators are “very close” in the investigation, said the official, who declined to be named. The same official also said a surveillance camera at Lord & Taylor, located directly across the street, has provided clear video of the area, though it was unclear whether the image of the suspect was taken from that camera.
