Hello folks, straight from the Big House in the Philippines I bring you greetings. We have been experiencing thunder showers and gray skies. Do you have any idea how much money you need to have to be able to retire in comfort?  Based on the results of the latest financial well-being survey conducted by Citibank, 56 percent of Filipinos know how much they would need to retire comfortably and have some savings set aside. Majority of the participants in my personal finance seminars do not have an idea how much they need for their retirement. Only 32 percent have a fairly accurate estimate of their retirement needs.   Most are cluelessIt is important that you have an accurate calculation of how much retirement fund you need so you can prepare properly.  ‘Guesstimates’ just won’t cut it.   Guess too low and you could be in for a financially miserable retirement.  Guess too high and you could spend the rest of your working years constantly under stress, trying to reach a goal that’s practically beyond your reach.

Sometimes women are overly suspicious of their husbands. When Adam stayed out very late for a few nights, Eve became upset. “You are running around with other women,” she charged. “You are being unreasonable,” Adam responded. “You are the only woman on earth.” The quarrel continued until Adam fell asleep, only to be awakened by someone poking him in the chest. It was Eve. “What do you think you are doing?” Adam demanded. “Counting your ribs,” said Eve.

Someone once said, “Worry is like a rocking chair.  It gives you something to do, but it gets you nowhere.”  Be not afraid… Do not worry. Lord, as I go on, help me to be more trusting in you and less on myself.  Lord, knowing that you are in control I need not worry anymore.  Amen.
