Hello friends out there, a big greeting from Danao to each of you. I hope everything is going on a straight path in your life. It a bother to me reading and hearing about Obama, yes he has a strange sounding name but I truly believe his blood is red-white and blue just as mine. Some of things he says or acts on I particular don’t believe in or like. But nevertheless I think he has paid his dues where he now sets. Well enough said. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W9lt__ACbFY
With the neighbor’s rooster crowing in the back ground we have decided to sell our house here in Danao which far too big and expensive for us two. It’s far too big – too empty for two people. When we make the sale we’ll relocate to a condo in Cebu. The majority of foreigners who are living there love or like Cebu. Some have been here as long as 30 years, others short visits but always wish to return. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fX577n3dry4
I keep watching and reading the news, there seems to be no peace any place on God’s green planet. Just shoot ‘em up, bang-bang. No peace of heart or mind. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wcf6iQDWPEo
The US defaulting on the debt means other currencies/countries/lenders are getting hurt. Even the talk of the US tapering hurt the emerging economies … a US default would be a worldwide mess. President Obama is getting blamed for all from the Republicans today as though they had nothing to do with it. My own view is that the Tea Party elements of the Republicans are much extreme than people realize. Can anyone explain to me why has the USD not dropped against other currencies?
Coming to you soon is information about the destruction of the Aral Sea. The Aral Sea was once the world’s fourth-largest body of fresh water, covering an area the size of Ireland. But then the nations around it became part of the Soviet Union. With their passion for planned economics and giant, nature-reversing projects, the communists diverted the rivers that fed the inland sea and used them to irrigate vast cotton fields. Aral Sea is in western Uzbekistan where wasteful irrigation practices by the former Soviet Union have drained most of the water, creating a vast ecological disaster. Rusting fishing boats lie in the desert sands that used to be rich fishing grounds.
President Nicolas Maduro ordered the expulsion of the top US diplomat in Venezuela and two other embassy officials, accusing them of plotting acts of sabotage with the opposition. Maduro gave charge d’affaires Kelly Keiderling, who has held the post since 2011 and the two other diplomats 48 hours to leave the country.”Yankees go home, get out of Venezuela!” the leftist leader said in a public address, adding that he had instructed Foreign Minister Elias Jaua to throw out the three Americans. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TYzRahHzIlQ Go eat your rice and beans and keep your damn oil. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pf-9lkp47us
U.S. President Barack Obama has canceled an official trip to Malaysia next week after the U.S. government went into a shutdown, Malaysian media quoted Prime Minister Najib Razak as saying on Wednesday. U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry will represent Obama in Malaysia for the visit instead, government-linked newspapers in Malaysia said. The Malaysian Prime Minister’s office did not respond to repeated calls seeking confirmation. Wrangling in the United States between Obama and congressional Republicans has forced the first government shutdown in 17 years.

By reaching for a bottle of H20 you may think you’re doing your body some good by avoiding tap water, which can be filled with who-knows-what. But that’s not the case. “Bottled water contains no fluoride, and we’re seeing more and more adults suffer from a fluoride deficiency, which can lead to tooth decay,” says Dr. Diamond. “Instead, fill your glass with water purified by a Brita or PUR water filtration system” which will keep your water free from impurities commonly found in tap water, but still allow you to reap the benefits of fluoride.

Chinese tourists should not pick their noses in public, pee in pools or steal airplane life jackets, China’s image-conscious authorities have warned in a handbook in their latest effort to counter unruly behavior. The National Tourism Administration publicized its 64-page Guidebook for Civilized Tourism — with illustrations to accompany its list of dos and don’ts — on its website ahead of a “Golden Week” public holiday that started on October 1. http://news.yahoo.com/no-nose-picking-china-chides-unruly-tourists-065319080.html
It wasn’t a tsunami but it had the same effect: A huge cluster of jellyfish forced one of the world’s largest nuclear reactors to shut down — a phenomenon that marine biologists say could become more common. Operators of the Oskarshamn nuclear plant in southeastern Sweden had to scramble reactor number three on Sunday after tons of jellyfish clogged the pipes that bring in cool water to the plant’s turbines. By Tuesday, the pipes had been cleaned of the jellyfish and engineers were preparing to restart the reactor, which at 1,400 megawatts of output is the largest boiling-water reactor in the world, said Anders Osterberg, a spokesman for OKG, the plant operator. All three Oskharshamn reactors are boiling-water types, the same technology at Japan’s Fukushima Daiichi plant that suffered a catastrophic failure in 2011 after a tsunami breached the facility’s walls and flooded its equipment. http://news.yahoo.com/wave-jellyfish-shuts-down-swedish-nuke-reactor-142353119–finance.html
